March 29th and 30th, 2025, Jevon Diming addressed the congregants at Messiah Lutheran Church and spoke on behalf of Pierre Outreach Services Safe Home (POSSH). She is the founder of the non-profit committed to educating and healing the deep rooted traumas faced by young black girls and their mothers. She spoke at three services with a Q&A between the morning services. Cookies, brownies and coffee were generously served by the church. Although it was a rainy weekend Jevon brought light and love into the church and passionately delivered her message regarding the urgent care this population is lacking. All funds raised on behalf of POSSH were matched through a fund of Messiah Lutheran that supports numerous charities.
