MEET JEVON DIMING

  • Jevon Diming, Founder of Pierre Outreach Safe House is a voice of authority on the extra care it will take to truly make a difference for young black girls.

  • Jevon Diming is a graduate of Edgewood College, Madison, Wisconsin, with a degree in Inner-city Psychology with a strong discipline for resolving inter-generational family trauma in the black community with a special priority for black mothers and adolescent girls. Her passion is to help break this cycle and provide real solutions. Solutions that have been 10 years in the making.  The research involved with Jevon's model includes the successful Maya Angelou’s Resi Program in Washington DC, and this, along with her years of experience in working to provide the perfect blend of solutions to create a strong balance of healthy sustainable development and families and schools, Jevon is bringing a hybrid solution to Madison.

  • While there are several great non-profits in Madison who offer opportunities for girls of color, the girls who have been most impacted by generational trauma need their basic needs met first – from both a psychological and physical perspective. Jevon wants to see these girls healed, mind body and soul so they can take full advantage of the opportunities Madison provides.

  • POSH transformative power of strong discipline to foster resilience and understanding, we can create a nurturing environment that empowers these families to break cycles of pain and cultivate a legacy of strength, love, and unity. Together, we can ignite a movement of healing, growth, and empowerment that resonates through generations!

  • Pierre Outreach Safe House will serve as a vital resource for parents, schools, and communities to help these young women deal with the generational trauma they have been inflicted with.
